Located in the Haut Languedoc Regional Park, Berlou nestles at the foot of the first foothills of Espinouse. The hilly landscape is dominated to the northeast by the Caroux massif, nicknamed the "Extended Woman". If you look closely at his figure you will understand why and you can then be told his legend. Going up the course of the Rieu Berlou you will discover the forest of the Albières, ancient royal hunt. In 2004, Berlou's winemakers had an exciting adventure. They create their own communal appellation, Saint-Chinian Berlou, reserved for their best terroirs.
