The abbey of Forty, which crowns the village, is attested from the beginning of the 10th century, making it an example of the first Romanesque art. Although several transformations were made in the decades that followed, it retains all the sobriety and grandeur of the architecture of that time. Note the remarkable use of different stone colors. Another monument not to be missed is the wind turbine of the engineer Bollée, at the Domaine de Roueïre, on the road to Creissan, built in 1898. Equipped with a wind orientation system particularly efficient for the time, it is a unique example south of the Loire.
