The Galtier Estate lies between the municipalities of Murviel-lès-Béziers and Causses-et-Veyran, and nests on a limestone plateau at an altitude of nearly 120 metres. Of the 30 hectares of vineyards on the estate, only 3 hectares belong to the land of the Saint-Chinian appellation.

Lise Carbonne, produces two red wines in Saint-Chinian AOP: L'Obstinée and L'Accompli. Two beautiful expressions of this limestone terroir of the appellation Saint-Chinian.

The winery has been mentioned in the archives since 1760. It is a typical Languedoc farm: a dovecote, in the shape of a square tower, a bread oven, a well allow us to understand agricultural life at that time. This family estate of 30 hectares of vines on three different terroirs, has been engaged in Sustainable Agriculture since 2002 (Terra Vitis).
