The La Maurine Estate, formerly La Maurine Rouge, produces organic wines in Red and Rosé Saint-Chinian AOP. The domain is above all a story of love, passion, terroir and transmission. Generations follow one another at the head of the family farm, and today, Sébastien Collot and his son are the heirs of this wine heritage.
They have old black Carignan plants over 80 years old, which bring their strength, vigour and hardiness to the assemblages.
Sébastien has settled on the family property that has existed for three generations. The cellar dates back to the 19th century and is located in the heart of the village, the tasting cellar has been redesigned in the former family stable where it welcomes artists for openings. The 20-hectare vineyard, mainly on clay-limestone soils, is located on the last foothills of the Cévennes.
