Richard Carpena, winemaker Domaine Pin des Marguerites, restores through its range of organic wines AOP Saint-Chinian and AOP Saint-Chinian Berlou the typical characteristics of the Berlou shale and the scrub surrounding the plots. These hilly vines require a lot of manual work because the oversides and escarpment do not allow the mechanization of the wine works. The whole vineyard is conducted according to the precepts of organic farming.

It was the work of three generations that led to the creation of the domain in 2005. Indeed, the grandfather already raised his wine in the cellar and then his son took over the torch by continuing to cultivate 12 hectares of vines. Today, the grandson takes care of this vineyard according to the principles of organic farming and by harvesting manually.
