Located in the far west of the Saint-Chinian appellation area, Villespassans is a typical Languedoc wine village. The old centre houses Romanesque houses, the remains of a castle remodeled over the centuries, a church as well as some remains of a rampart. The alleys form a maze. All around, we skip five centuries to find ourselves in the 1850s/1900s when the prosperity of viticulture allowed the owners to build beautiful mansions. Since then things have changed little keeping the whole an old-fashioned charm.
