Philippe Bordes, a local child, came to meet his friends and share his passion for wine with them. Created in 2001, the estate consists of vineyards located on Saint-Chinian, Assignan and Villespassans on clay-limestone soils and vines on a shale soil in Babeau-Bouldoux. Some parcels of Carignan are more than a century old. The wines are grown in a stone cellar at the foot of the Monts de la Grage.
