Born into a long line of peasant-vignerons, rooted in this terroir, Joel Fernandez grew up on the hillsides of Berlou shale. His father and great-grandfather, named Leon, brought their grapes to the cooperative winery. They are the essential links in Joel's ambitious project: to settle in a private cellar, eager to vinify his own vintages. In 2008, La Grange Léon was born.
